Farm Tours

Osage Gardens holds regularly scheduled farm tours throughout the year. These are open to the public. Check the Calender of Events to see if there is an upcoming farm tour scheduled.

If you are part of a group or organization that would be interested in a tour, please contact us!

We also hold Classroom to Farm Field Trips for school groups.

Fall Activities Field Trip: Pick your own pumkin and experience Fall Harvest at its best!

During this tour, children will take a mini greenhouse tour including a seed to Harvest Demo, learn about beneficial bugs as well as composting. Each Child will get to pick their own pumpkin from our pumkin patch and bring home the pumkin of their choosing.

This field trip will last at least 1 hr at the farm: 1/2 hour for tour and activities and 1/2 hour for Pumkin Choosing. Teacher and Parent Chapperone assistance is required. The groups are welcome to come in the morning and stay to eat paper bag lunches outside. Cost is $5 per child. Please contact us to make a reservation.

Spring Activities Field Trip: Experience Spring in Full Bloom!

Activities during this tour include a transplanting station, seed to harvest demo station, beneficial bugs station, a mini greenhouse tour and a tasting station. Children will go home with their own transplanted herb or vegetable cup with a care card.

This field trip will last at least 1.5 hours, 1 hour for structured activities and 1/2 hour for playing. Teacher and parent chapperone assistance and interaction is required. Groups are welcome to stay and eat a brown bag lunch. Cost is $5 per child. Please contact us to make a reservation.
