Osage

Care of Osage Gardens Culinary Herbs:

Store herbs in either the plastic ‘clam-shell’ containers that the herbs come in or in small plastic sealable bags.  When you are ready to use them, first gently wash your herbs.  Because Osage Gardens herbs are organic, you do not need to wash off any pesticides or other chemical residues, however, there may be some dirt or other natural particles that should be rinsed off before used in cooking.  After gently washing, dry your herbs either by lightly shaking them as they hang from your hand and/or roll them up in a tea towel or in a paper towel and lightly pat them dry. Some herbs are delicate and bruise easily. Basil is the most fragile while rosemary and thyme are very hearty.
